Hi, I’m Stephanie — Manager here at Poconos Barking Lot! 🐾 I’ve been a professional groomer for over 15 years, with training in breed-specific cuts and even show grooming early in my career. I’ve also studied veterinary care and worked as a vet tech, giving me a deeper understanding of animal health and well-being. Beyond grooming, I’ve cared for all kinds of animals — dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals — for over 15 years. My heart is fully in this work. 💛 Before joining Poconos Barking Lot, I spent about five years in management, including running a Tier B salon that brought in over a million dollars annually. That experience taught me how to lead a team with purpose, efficiency, and a lot of love for what we do. I’m proud to bring that same energy and passion here every day. Your pets are in great hands with us — I treat every animal like they’re my own.

Hi! I’m Melanie. I started my journey in the pet grooming industry as a bather in 2016, and by 2017, I began my grooming apprenticeship. In 2018, I took a big leap and opened my own holistic dog spa, where I’ve been proudly working for myself and providing gentle, wellness-focused grooming ever since. After years of building my passion and experience, I’m excited to now be part of the Poconos Barking Lot family, where I can continue doing what I love — helping dogs look and feel their absolute best in a calm, caring environment.

Hello! I’m currently a groomer and kennel technician at Poconos Barking Lot, and being surrounded by animals every day is truly a dream come true. My role focuses on making sure every pet leaves feeling clean, comfortable, and confident. There's something incredibly rewarding about helping them look and feel their best. After starting as a bather, I’ve now officially stepped into the grooming role — a passion I’ve worked hard to develop. I’ve always felt a deep connection with animals, and being able to care for them in such a hands-on, creative, and professional way has been an amazing journey. I’m excited to continue growing my grooming skills and providing every pet with the love and attention they deserve.

Hi, I’m Kristy — the Lead Kennel Tech here at Poconos Barking Lot! 🐾 With a background in dog training and a huge heart for animals, I’m here to make sure every pup in our care feels safe, loved, and right at home. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or helping with good manners, I love every moment spent with our boarding dogs! Taking care of your fur babies is something I truly love. I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family, and I always do my best to give them the love, attention, and comfort they deserve while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your pup and make their stay a fun, tail-wagging experience! 🐾

My life pretty much revolves around wagging tails and wet noses, so being part of this team feels like home.
